Escapade dans les jardins de Giverny...

Il y a quelques semaines j'avais envie et surtout besoin d'un peu de nature ... Mes amis m'ont kidnappé pour une journée et m'ont amené à 1h30 de Paris découvrir la maison de Monet et ses jardins à Giverny.

On y trouve une grande variété de fleurs.

A few weeks ago I felt the need to see greenery ... My friends kidnapped me for a day and took me 1h30 away from Paris to discover Monet's house and gardens at Giverny.

Hier soir, j'ai assisté médusée à la customisation du mur de mon salon...

Un vent de folie c'est emparé de mon amoureux Axel et de son ami Yann.

Vive les masking tape !! 

The other evening, I sat there dumbfounded whilst the wall of my living room was customised before my very eyes ...
A touch of madness had overtaken my boyfriend, Axel, and his fried Yann.
Long live masking tape !!

En route vers le Sweatshop ....

Hier soir avec ma soeur, nous avons croisé sur notre chemin deux femmes vêtues de capes blanches, des papillons en papier dans les cheveux et autour du cou une petite malle.... dedans il y avait de jolis porte-monnaies, des trousses "fait main" qu'elles ont pris soin de nous présenter en nous contant une très jolie histoire... toutes leurs créations tournent autour des mots et de la poésie. Une parenthèse magique en plein Paris. Leur marque :Edition Poshette.

Last night, my sister and I came upon two ladies wearing white capes, with white paper butterflies in their hair and a small case round their neck .... containing pretty purses and small handmade bags that they carefully presented to us whilst telling us a story .... all their creations are linked to words and poetry. A magical encounter in the middle of Paris. Their name : Edition Poshette.

Ensuite nous somme allées trinquer avec Martina et Sissi pour la sortie de "the sweatshop Book", un livre qu'elles ont élaboré pendant 1 an avec des patrons, des recettes, de bonnes adresses autour de leur café couture dans le 10 ème.

We then went on to have a drink with Martina and Sissi who were celebrating the publication of "the sweatshop Book".

a book they have been preparing for the past year, with patterns, recipes and good addresses near their "café couture" in the 10th arrondissement.

This is my coloured sticker booklet edited by Mon Petit Art, and recently shown at the Maison & Objet trade fair in Paris.

MERCI Aurélie Mathigot

Hier soir c'était le vernissage de l'installation d'Aurélie Mathigot chez MERCI.

J'adore son univers et j'ai pu échanger quelques mots avec elle sur son travail et j'ai appris qu' elle prépare un atelier au Mac/Val au mois de juillet : une Visite "inventée" de l'exposition " Emporte-moi / Sweep me off my feet " autour de l'installation de l'artiste Aurélie Mathigot "Protect me".

Elle aime faire participer des femmes, des enfants à l'élaboration de ses oeuvres pour perpétuer ou faire connaître des techniques, un artisanat.

Last night there was a private viewing  of Aurélie Mathigot's work at the Merci concept store.
I love her universe and was able to talk to her briefly about her work and found out that she was preparing a workshop at the Mac/Val in July : an "imaginary" visit of the exhibition "Sweep me off my feet" around the work of the artist Aurélie Mathigot, "Protect me".
She loves to enable women and children participate in the elaboration of her creations in order to perpetrate or share her techniques, her love of arts and crafts.

Meilleurs Voeux pour Noël

le FOIN 3

C'est un micro festival pluri-artistique qui se déroule dans une ferme, très exactement à la Ferme de Remy Garnot.
A la fois fermier, boulanger amateur d’art et ouvert à toute expérience artistico-agricole. Le temps d'un week-end son terrain se transforme en lieu d'expositions, concerts ,contes, DJs, performances... évidement on y mange du bon pain bio, des légumes du jardin et du vin.
C'est grâce à mon amoureux Axel et ses amis Cyril et Marylène, que j'ai pu découvrir cette endroit magnifique ! 

je vous préviendrai pour la prochaine édition, c'est au alentour du 25 septembre.

It's all about a micro pluri artistic festival which takes place on a farm, more specifically at la Ferme de Remy Garnot.
All at once, farmer, baker, art lover, open to all types of artistic/agricultural experiences. For the lapse of a weekend his farm is transformed into a mixture of exhibitions, concerts, story telling, DJs, performers... evidently you can also eat good organic bread, fresh garden vegetables and wine.
It's thanks to my boyfriend Axel and his friends Cyril and Marylène that I discovered this magnificient place !

Parcours d'art contemporain du 19 ème

Il y a 2 semaines, c'était le parcours d'art contemporain dans le 19 ème à Paris.

Pour l'occasion nous avons ouvert les portes de notre atelier, on eu beaucoup de visites! évidemment on n'a pas eu le temps de faire le parcours.... mais le dernier soir nous sommes allés à l'apéro de "l'imprimerie 168" on a découvert un lieu de création comme on en voit plus que très rarement à Paris... l'ambiance était magique!

j' ai eu un coup de coeur pour l'installation de Sarah Barthélémy-Sibi, "arbre à helices" un mobile géant de fleurs en papier, activé par des ventilateurs, en dessous un transat ...une belle invitation au voyage et à la méditation.

2 weeks ago, it was the route of contemporary art in the 19th arrondissement in Paris
We took the opportunity to open the doors of our artists' studio and had lots of visitors so we evidently didn't have time to do the rounds ourselves .... but the last evening we managed to visit  "l'imprimerie" and discovered a paradise of creation that one rarely has the occasion to see in Paris ... the atmosphere was magic !
I fell in love with the installation by Sarah Barthélémy-Sibi "arbre à hélices" a giant mobile of a flower made of paper, set in motion by ventilators, and beneath it a deck chair .... a great invitation to travel and meditate.

j'ai eu une proposition indécente, qui rendrait jaloux tous les enfants!!! dessiner sur un grand mur blanc.

j'ai de suite accepté, j'ai pris mes feutres à l'eau et je me suis laissée guider par mon imaginaire pendant toute une journée tandis que les journalistes regardaient les collections enfants des 3 suisses.

j'ai eu un très belle accueil, un peu de légèreté hors du temps....


I received an almost sinful proposal which would make all children jealous ... 

to be able to draw what I wanted on a huge white wall.
I immediately accepted, and with my water colour felt tip pens in hand, let my imagination take over for one whole day 

whilst journalists were admiring the 3 Suisses children's collections
My work was warmly appreciated, bringing me a breath of fresh air for a moment in time ....

ma forêt enchantée

Il y a quelques jours je suis rentrée dans une autre décennie....
et pour l'occasion j'ai organisé une fête dans mon atelier.
J'ai eu envie de peindre une grande fresque, J'ai donc ressorti tous mes vieux tubes de peintures que j'avais rangé dans le fond de mon placard.
Lors de ma soirée j'ai fait des photos de mes invités déguisés devant cette forêt...
Le résultat est encore mieux que ce que j'imaginais!
J'en garderai un merveilleux souvenir.



A few days ago I tumbled into a new decade ....
and for the occasion I painted a forest on one wall of my studio for the birthday party celebrations.
I rooted out all my old tubes of paint which had been hidden away at the back of the cupboard.
At the party I took lots of photos of my friends in front of the forest dressed up for the occasion ...
The result was even better than I'd ever imagined ! I've got lots of happy memories.

Hier soir au New Morning, il a mis une ambiance de folie la salle était pleine à craquer!
j'ai découvert un trompettiste extra-ordinaire Ibrahim Maalouf.
Il ne se refuse rien, ni le swing, ni le rock progressif, ni les scansions techno, ni les vieilles mélodies moyen-orientales, ni les douces introspections en solo…

Last night at the New Morning, there was an atmosphere of madness in a theater that was full to bursting.
I discovered an extraordinay trumpet player Ibrahim Maalouf.
He plays everything - swing, progressive rock, techno scanning, old middle eastern melodies, and even gentle solo introspections ...

Aï & Mili chez Merci.... souvenir

Il y a quelques semaines, une amie japonaise est venue passer une semaine à Paris. je l'ai amené chez Merci et ce jour là, il y avait une soirée spéciale... nous avons pu savourer une coupe de champagne !
N'étant toutes les deux pas fan de ces mondanités, nous sommes allées chez moi et elle m'a préparé un petit dîner avec des ingrédients qu'elle avait ramené du Japon, on s'est régalée!! merci Aï ;)


A few weeks ago, a Japanese friend came to spend a week in Paris. I took her to the concept store Merci where a special evening event was taking place ... we were able to enjoy a glass of champagne !
As neither of us were really fans of such social gatherings, we went back to my flat and my Japanese friend prepared us a meal with ingredients which she had brought over from Japan, we had a fabulous meal !! thank you Aï ;)

brocante des bords de marne

Dimanche dur dur ... levé à 5h30 pour monter le stand à la brocante du Perreux-sur-Marne (la ville ou j'ai grandi...)
3m rempli de bibelots en tout genre. Avec ma Pt soeur, on a joué à la marchande.
J'ai aussi fait de petites trouvailles: une jolie boîte à couture corail des années 50, un tableau rond de fleurs séchées, une broche et un bracelet rose à pois.
Le tout pour la modique somme de 5 euros !

Petruscka

En rangeant mon ordi, j'ai retrouvé une photo de famille de mes petites petruscka avant qu'elle partent en voyages dans la jolie boutique de LILLIBULLE
C'était en 2008... je serais curieuse de savoir où elles vivent maintenant ??
